Genotype Cats – Ragdoll Cats is a TICA registered Ragdoll cattery (in home) in Tuscaloosa AL. We have kittens in nearly every color and pattern you could want and they are raised in our home underfoot and with a small herd of European Cream Golden Retrievers (which we also breed) so they are well adjusted kittens, eager for love and attention! (Our vet has to try to stop them from purring just to get to listen to their heart/lungs!) These are some of the sweetest cats you will ever meet and low shedding/matting compared with other long haired cats. They are vaccinated through the time they leave and dewormed/flea/tick/h eartguard protected. They go either with a spay/neuter contract, a prepaid spay/neuter, or occasionally with open registration to an approved cattery. We have worked to bring in a broad genetically variable set of cats, importing several from Italy, Greece, and New Zealand to capture some of the unique alleles that allow us to produce less common colors (like lilac and chocolate) and to ensure we are reducing our inbreeding coefficient. We encourage new Ragdoll owners to consider adding two kittens to their home. Ragdolls are a very social breed of cat and are almost always found snuggled up with at least one other kitty about my house. Their adjustment to your home and life will always be much easier on them with a kitty companion and then you get double the fun/love!
We do our best to be able to arrange transport throughout the US and internationally with a pet transporter (with a companion so not sent as cargo) because we believe that our kittens deserve to get to meet the perfect family for them, wherever that may take them! Transport is an additional cost to the new kittens family.
